On November 23, we will launch the anabasis.space platform with the artworks of the ANABASIS ONLINE RESIDENCY.
The ANABASIS project was inspired by Paul Celan and its residency took place from July 19 to August 01, 2021, on ZOOM. Nine artists and one group of artists took part in it and discussed questions like that of identity based on the poetry of Celan often seen from a posthumanist perspective, both with the curators as well the invited experts: Dr. Francesca Ferrando (New York), José F.A. Oliver (Hausach), Prof. Petro Rychlo (Chernivtsi), Prof. Paul Sars (Nijmegen), and Prof. Rochelle Tobias (Baltimore, Maryland). During the following three months the residents finished their artworks.
